Adolescent Consultation Services

Meet Our Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Adolescent Consultation Services (ACS) conducted an extensive search to find a replacement for its long-serving Executive Director, Rebecca Pries. On behalf of the Board, we are very pleased to announce that in June 2016 we selected Dr. Leah Kelly as ACS’s next Executive Director.

Dr. Leah KellyLeah is excited to join ACS.  “As a clinician for court-involved clients, I’ve long been aware of ACS and its leadership in providing services for vulnerable children and families in Middlesex County. I’ve admired Rebecca’s work.  It will be an honor to succeed her and to work with ACS’s exceptional staff and committed Board.”Leah trained at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (receiving a PsyD degree in Clinical Psychology and a Certificate of Specialized Training in Forensic Psychology) and at Boston College (where she received a Master’s degree in Adolescent and Adult Counseling Psychology).

She brings to the position excellent training and a firm grounding in mental health services for challenged populations.  Leah joined ACS on June 6, 2016, when she assumed responsibility for all of the day-to-day operations of the agency

Rebecca continues to provide counsel and guidance for Leah through this transition. Rebecca also continues to serve as Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Alliance of Juvenile Court Clinics.  This is the statewide advocacy group that educates public sector decision makers about the needs of court-involved children and families and seeks to secure state funding to serve them.

Rebecca knew Leah very early in her career and is delighted that she has returned to this work.  “I believe the Board has made a wonderful selection. Leah’s unwavering commitment to serve vulnerable court-involved kids and families, her strategic thinking and planning, the quality of the relationships she fosters, her spirit, energy and enthusiasm is a leadership mix that will deeply enrich the future of ACS. I am thrilled with this choice and am confident that Leah will lead ACS forward with skill and vision.”
