Deborah Reyes is a clinical social worker who joined Adolescent Consultation Services (ACS) in September 2018 as the Countywide Treatment Coordinator. Deborah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Clark University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College. Deborah has 16 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric and dual diagnosis units, outpatient mental health clinics, and most recently in a correctional facility. Prior to ACS, Deborah served as the Regional Mental Health Director for correctional facilities located in Northern Massachusetts and as the site director for the men’s maximum-security facility. While working in corrections, she also managed two mental health treatment programs for individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness and severe functional impairments. Her experience working within the correctional setting fueled her desire to help court-involved and at-risk youth develop strategies to avoid further involvement with the criminal justice system.
