Lauren Persing, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist who joined Adolescent Consultation Services in 2019. Before her graduate studies in psychology, Dr. Persing worked with preschool and school-aged children as an educator in the Bay Area. Dr. Persing then obtained her Psy.D. from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. She completed her internship at WestCoast Children’s Clinic in Oakland, California, where she provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to children and adolescents. She completed her Child and Family Forensic postdoctoral fellowship at the Child and Family Evaluation Service at William James College in Newton, Massachusetts, where she conducted court-ordered evaluations and served as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in high conflict divorce cases.
Dr. Persing works at the Framingham Court Clinic, conducting forensic evaluations of youth who come before the Juvenile Court on a variety of matters. She is also on staff at the Child and Family Evaluation Service, where she continues to conduct forensic evaluations and serve as a GAL for Probate and Family Court. Dr. Persing teaches and supervises interns, postdoctoral fellows, and professionals on issues pertinent to forensic and clinical psychological testing in the Boston area.
