ACS Statement issued June 2020

ACS stands in support and solidarity with the Black community.

The youth and families we serve through the Middlesex County Juvenile Courts are diverse in race, ethnicity, and lived experience. Many are deeply impacted by the acts of racially motivated violence across our country. It is our responsibility to listen and become strong allies in the campaign against racism. We join the mourning of the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, and Breonna Taylor, along with too many others.

As a mental health agency, we are deeply committed to the values of inclusion, social justice, and equal access to medical and mental healthcare. We are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and accessible space for young people to heal, grow, and thrive.
