Dan Sanford Psy.D., CJCC I and II, CJCC I and II Mentor

Clinical Director

Dan is a licensed psychologist with a specialty in forensic evaluations including competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility evaluations. He has worked for ACS since 2001, beginning as a staff psychologist in Lowell, and as Clinical Director since 2012. As Clinical Director, Dan oversees all clinical aspects of ACS services. Dan is an adjunct faculty member at Tufts Medical School and supervises psychiatry fellows in their juvenile forensic rotation. He is a CJCC I and CJCC II Mentor and has been a member of the CJCC Committee since 2014. He was appointed Chair of the CJCC Committee in September 2020. Dan also serves on the Department of Mental Health Child and Adolescent Team conducting court ordered inpatient evaluations.
